Heater issues

My mum has a 95 K11 and is having problems with her heater. I am aware of the resistor card problem and have replaced it. However, her car kills everyone i put in. she even bought a replacement one from Nissan and it was burnt out within a week! Anyone had the same problem? I am guessing there is a fault with the motor maybe sending too much current through the resistor card? Any suggestions are welcome!

motor may? be siezing drawing too much amps?
only way to check is get it out,,,how does it sound on 1-2 settings?

It only works on 4 because the resistor card is screwed.

i would pull the motor out and check the commutator and brushes jon, it does sound like its drawing too much current eh

can the brushes be changed?

as when mine gets hot it sqeals like hell lol

i doubt if its worth it will, just fit another motor if the brushes or comm are knackered eh
