I was half way through taken my ma10 engine apart to do the head gasket got to the head bolt and my 12 sided sockets wouldnt fit ive seen the 12 spline pattern before in college but ive forgot what i used can someone help because i'm being right stupid

12 mm to small 13mm to big havnt tried imperial yet probally a good place to start
As stated in above replys 12 mm is the correct socket, I find when using 1/2" drive its easier with a long socket. If you are using 3/8 drive you are risking damaging your rachet .

i got it off now all my sockets are 12 sided apart from my 12mm which is 6 side didnt think to check feeling abit stupid
