Have i mashed my amp?!

Hey folks, i've tried all the solutions to this, but i reckon i may have done some internal damage because i'm a lazy t**t... took my sub and parcel shelf/speakers out to make space in the boot...but left the amp wired in, while driving i stuck the radio on and moved the balance right forward to the front (non-amped) speakers then whacked the volume right up to get some music going...daft, i know, when sub/parcel shelf were put back in i get a static/white noise that wavers slightly like a bad radio reception.Even with RCA's unplugged and zero volume it's still there, although the amp still works fine and i've resorted to drowning the noise out, does anyone know how to sort this?

Any help greatly appreciated, tried shouting at it and everything....(Y)

Either new 6x9's or new amp...or just keep the volume up lol!
