Handbrake light?!

I took the car out this morning, drove it down the drive and realised the handbrake light staed on, took the hanbrake apart inside the car bit, took the cable off put back on but still stays on?! Any idea?!

Is the handbrake pushing down onto the button that turns the handbrake light off ?

I had that the other day, turns out i was driving with handbrake on but the handbreak didn't really do much to the car lol..it just drove haha.

Well its not the brake fluid level, and the first thing i checked was the button, took the cable off put it on, pressed the button on and off but still it stays on?!

mine did it for a while. try jamming jamming the handbrake on as ya stop it worked for me :grinning: lol

lol will give it a go!!! Ill try anything atm haha, its not on the road atm though as my insurance has run out, will sort that out soon, but as its not on the road i can have a little play!
