I've found a Gti-R at a wreckers and they quoted me $150 per caliper. Is that about the going rate?? I didnt want to overpay since I intend to get em rebuilt anyway.

» CMF MemberI paid $167 for a pair of AD22VF calipers with vented rotors to suit - you have to be lucky but I grabbed those ones off eBay. I'd say $200 for a pair would be pretty reasonable but I'd say check out the <a href="http://www.pulsar.org.au/">pulsar.org.au</a> forums for an idea of what they go for. They're generally pretty sought after but $150 from a wreckers is a bit much.
Rebuild kit from memory was $40 all up from bursons, though might possibly be able to get that cheaper too.
