grinding noise

K10 1.2 auto under 30,000 mile on clock.

I have this grinding noise. It started off sounding fairly quiet and when I turned right. I took it the a garage they told me it was a buckled plate near the brake and “fixed” it. When I drove home, all 150 yards, I didn’t hear anything. Then yesterday, which was the first time I’ve been out in it since, there is an awful loud grinding sound intermittently when driving straight and really bad when I turn left. Any ideas before I give the garage a mouthful tomorrow morning?

Wheel bearing perhaps?
Suspension bush?

Thanks, I'll ask my mechanic to look at those when I drop the car off tomorrow morning.

Drive shaft (CV joint) maybe??

Grinding/knocking noise will be most likely to cv joints, driveshafts and suspension parts.

Squealing noise will be most likely to braking parts ( pads or discs)
