This weekend, my wife and I just picked up an '89 Pao! Auto and solid roof. We ran across it for sale about a month ago and finally pulled the trigger on it. Couldn't be happier with it. It's actually more awkward in the passenger seat than in the driver's seat. It's been a fun weekend driving it around town.
I have a few questions as we get the car up to 100%. The rear glass lift supports are worn and won't keep the glass up. Is there a replacement part for a modern US side car we could use? If needed, I can do a little fabrication, but I'd like to keep it simple if possible.
Also, the passenger side hand crank knob needs replacing. Minor little things like that. The radio comes on and lights up but doesn't play anything. Have you all been able to get the stereo to work?
I'm sure I'll have more questions as we dive into this. I've been a gear head for a long time and it's great to see that my wife is giddy about a car now too!
I'm looking forward to learning more about this car and the community!
