Hi,

I need a new box and clutch. Can anyone tell me how much is reasonable... I have been quoted $850 for fitting of 2nd hand box and new clutch all under warranty for 3months.

that price you quoted is too much.

i bought a second hand gearbox for my last micra for $400 with 3 months warranty

i did fit it myself tho, i think $450 for labour is a rort

look around you'll find a better deal

er $450 for labour and a brand new clutch? thats pretty cheap, i think a micra gearbox for $400 is a rort, i got my last one for $150... with 3 months warranty... its a micra not a silvia/skyline, $850 for drive in, and you get a new box and clutch fitted, that's a bargain.

sydney is way overpriced, so tough titties for us

give carlos a call, from sportsclassic.com.au he might be able to beat that price although im not sure if they do any labour work, can always try tho.
