Gearbox!

I think my gearbox is about to go awol the engine is still gr8 bombs along at 70 mph not bad for a 998 cc an 18 years old but the gearbox makes a rubbing noise what box would fit. My daughters b/f has a 1.3 sunny that was broken into at weekend an some oik nicked the cd player he dont feel its his car anymore would the box fit? oh its the same year 1988 or will the box an the engine fit

hi chap as far as i know only the ma10 or ma12 box will fit the k10 you can usally pick one up from scrapyard or car parts plaxce for around £50 if you look about
