Gearbox speedo drives mech / elec

I have bought a new gearbox for my car and it has an electric speedo drive like this:

But i have a mechanical speedo, does anyone have a mechanical one that will fit or know of which cars have them, as I belive mine is made out of aluminium and fits into a smaller diameter hole. its a '94 whereas this one came off a '98

try bulking up the smaller mech speedo casing with ducktape till it fits snug?

Its got a different sized cog on the end. im pretty sure someone will have one of these, somewhere!
