Gearbox oil

Ok i am changing a cv joint on a micra at the weekend and will be removing the driveshaft from the gearbox to do it.

I have been led to believe i will lose some oil from the gearbox so i will get some to top it up with.

What type/spec of gearbox oil do i need.

It is a 1.3 lx K11

castrol Syntrax Universal (or any other with a viscosity SAE 80, to API GL4) or personally I'd go for Nissan Main Dealer gbox oil

when was it last changed? might be best to go for new oil all together

thanks for the reply, i got some stuff from a local motor factor that they said should be suitable.

Not changing the oil completely as car will be going in a few months anyway.
