Hi guys just acquired a new k11 1998 1.3 gx, my question is will my 1 litre 1993 L gearbox fit? I know the shafts are usually a different size but not sure?

Ah ok which year should I look for that's a direct fit?
Sorry another question when changing clutch do you need to fully remove both shafts and totally remove gearbox? I've heard some people say you don't need to remove everything and can do it in situ?

I think 98 is the facelift year, so before that should be a straight swap. I've just taken the gearbox of my 96 1.0, which required the left driveshaft completely out and right driveshaft popped out the gearbox end.
I also saw someone say you don't need to remove the gearbox to replace the clutch, but I think that may be bollocks as I can see the clutch now. No idea how you'd get to it with the gearbox housing over it!

Thanks I did the clutch and you definatley have to remove the gearbox and easier to remove both shafts! All can be done from underneath though did nothing on top
