Gearbox breather spewing oil?

Hi all,

Just driven back from Nottingham to Bristol and got home to be greeted by the smell of oil, I popped the bonnet to find a ton of oil had been spewed out of the gearbox's breather pipe.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I checked g/box oil on Friday before I left and it was spot on to the mark.
