fuel gauge erratic, ie, fuctuates op and down. also heater motor blower only working speed 4 any suggestiens guys cheers.

the heater problem is the resistor card i think, try a search on repairing it

would also be a good idea to remove the blower motor and remove leaves and debris as well as checking for binding of the motors plain bearings. It's near impossible to get to the top bearing so I just squirted some Silkolene cable lube with graphite up under the fan blades while hand spinning the motor however removing the lower casing allows you to get at the lower bearing. Best to use light machine oil.
If you don't do this the new card will fail in a matter of months as the binding motor draws too much current through the card. The cards can be repaired if you're any good at a soldering iron, just don't use standard flux solder.
As for the fuel gauge try the tank sender and possible worn through wiring looms (shorted intermittently to ground/earth)
