Fuel filler pipe

Hi

My 160sr has a very rusty fuel filler pipe. I have seen replacement parts available but wondering if anyone has any 'how to' videos/pictures or help as this is something I am hopefully going to tackle myself!

Cheers

Oddly I cant see it in either the Haynes manual or on youtube, the best suggestion I can give is have a look at this one, as it seems to at least somewhat cover taking out the filler pipe as a way of getting to the tank. I'm assuming they didnt do anything weird at the back of the 1.6, especially not to the tank

I did my fuel filler yesterday, it took 30 minutes, took of rear off side wheel then 2 bolts at the bottom of the filler pipe undid the jubelle clips on both pipes, and then it fell out. make sure to clean wheel arch of all mud and ****, to stop it falling into tank pipe, and just reverse for fitting.
(Warning) i bought a replacement on line obviously pattern part and it doesn't quiet fit as original did, so may bee go oem!

Same, easy to do, I will attach photos of mine

Wow that's bad isn't it. We run my late father in law's 05 plate 1.2 petrol as a utility car (dogs, rubbish etc..!) and it has a rusty filler neck but was a seaside car for much of its life, despite only having 37k miles on it, so I half expected it, along with the rusty slam panel but it seems a common issue by the look of it.
