Front Crossmember.

I need to change the front crossmember. Instead of welding I am considering using 3M 8115 Body Adhesive. As its about £70 for 200ml before I make a final decision, has anyone got any helpful comments or advice on the subject. Thanks in advance for any advice.

seen adhesives used on sme old mg's and austins, the stuff definately stuck but was a right pain cutting out all the mess it hid and im pretty sure its for body trim/skin bits rather than structural parts like the crossmamber
