front cross member

hi
can some one advise me on welding front cross member up ready to mot her??
my opinion it can be plated for mot but my uncle saying it got to be replaced
if replaced wat involved in taking old one out and fitting new cross member in
i have welding equipment

get a new one from ebay for about 35 delivered, fairly easy to replace if you can weld tbh.

The Micra I've just bought had failed its MOT prior to me buying it. The garage that did the MOT carried out some welding repairs to the cross-member and then passed it.

Not sure where the repair is, underneath I expect as nothing is visible form above.
