flywheel lightening- daily use

hows it going,
im currently in the process of rebuilding my cg13de , but i have a cg10 flywheel and gearbox to go on, im dropping my flywheel off to the specilists tommorow and i want to know whats the best weight to get it down to, also what weight are they standard, thanks

My coilpack 1.4 is 8kgs and my coilpack 1.0 is 6kgs. I think you can get them dowe to about 4kgs.

so if i ask for it to be lightened to 4kg it should be ok?

They'll tell you what it can be lightened to if they're reputable.

they said a cast iron flywheel would be too weak if i took 2kg off , so they got near enough 1kg off. shoukld still make some difference
