Fitting adjustable panard rod

Guys I have a Whiteline adjustable panard rod to fit, hopefully this weekend.

Up till now I have been running a reinforced but standard panard rod, but I want to improve the rear alinement by using the adjustable one.

I know how to remove the old one and fit the new one, but how do I aline it? I will be running -80mm rear springs.

My thoughts are to find a central point on the rear beam and mark this, then compress the rear beam so it is at the height it will be normally, and then adjust the rod till it is central. Is this right? How have other done this?

Also can someone measure arch to centre of the hub on the rear with a standard ride height spring for me.

Thanks for any help.

Hey Matt,

I always used to load the car up fully. (my weight in the drivers seat)

Allow it to settle then adjust untill there was equal gap from the rear arch to each wheel by dropping a plumb line down from the centre of the arch

after removing the old rod i rocked the car side to side up n down fitted the adjustable one went and had it 4 way lazer tracked up job done
