Fitting 1.3 head & cams to a 1.0

Hello ive found k11 1.3 head & cams on ebay, could I fit it to my 1.0? How hard would it be? Would I need to buy any extra parts for it to work?

You only need the cams as the head 1.3 head is identical to the 1.0

Plus I have just looked at the advert and £99 + £60 delivery is massively overpriced!!!! You can get a complete engine for less than £100

Just ask on here or on facebook for a set of cams. Expect to pay £30-£50 for a set

FWIW

I paid £100 for a gearbox delivered
£200 for a good engine delivered
ECU could be a tenner?

But i've seen people pick up engines for a fraction of that

Where's the best place to get a 1.3 engine and gearbox from, and how hard is it to put in to a 1.0 is it just a straight swap???

You only need the engine and can keep your box.

What year is your Micra?
The gearbox should be fine but the clutch can be a weak point as the hp rises

1998 what clutch should I get??

Do you know if it's a facelift model or pre-facelift?
Prefacelift 1.0L boxes have a 160mm clutch/flywheel
Preface 1.3, facelift 1.0 and facelift 1.3 have a 180mm clutch which is preferable starting point.
It's a bit beyond my scope of knowledge regarding the clutch.

Hopefully someone else on here can help. Best bet is to read thro some of the turbo blogs on here
