fiat 600 cg13 swap

Hi, I need a little help to start my engine, is a cg13 but mounted on a fiat 600, do not use injections, use cbr 600 carbs, I need to know if I can use the standard ecu just to handle the distributor, a friend, Car electrician says I need also the key and the unit WFS, is obliged to use the key and the wfs?.

hi miilor, the nats (immobiliser) cuts the injector pulses, so it should run ok with carbs
i think you will need the throttle position sensor and maf signals also though, for the ignition advance/retard to function correctly

id use a distributer off the earlier k10 engine, simple electronic ignition no ecu etc. just needs a bit of adapting to fit
