fault code

hi i have read the fault code on my k11 it flashes up as 21 this is to do with the ignition i know but what could the fault be, thanks

ignition signal, circuit malfunction
it sounds like a distributor problem to me (scrap yard ?)

thanks frank there is no spark do you know what readings i should get when testing the coil (the coil is in the dizzy) is this a common fault

yes pretty common fwn, .8ohm primary resistance, and 800-1200 ohm secondary

im getting 0 on the primary and 1000 secondary i have removed the coil and briefly connected to battery and i do get a weak spark but when it is connected to the car i get nothing at the plugs, could i still get a weak spark with a faulty coil

sounds like the spark is too weak to jump the rotor arm and plug eh :glance:
