Facelift clocks on a pre facelift

I have a set of facelift clocks so a tacho for my k11c, just wondering if it'll be possible to put them in an N reg pre facelift? Not bothered if I have to change the dash etc, just wondering if it's possible?

Its possible im sure but barely. You would need to change the speedo sensor in the gear box for a start, wether a preface gear box would accept it is another story. Fitting wise it should just bolt in. As for the wiring it would need to be completly re done. Much simpler to get a set of preface clocks, you can change the millage on them to match too

the electronic facelift gearbox speedos are a fraction mm smaller than preface mechanical speedos.

the preface instrument clusters can be unbolted/unplugged from the casing but dunno if the facelift clusters are cross compatible with preface.

Never thought of the speedo being a cable on mine

I'll just look for a set of pre face clocks, my brothers got a facelift anyway so he'll just have to have them
