So I'm running the rubbish stock pipe ATM and wonna smoke something bigger and louder. I had the idea of taking out the back box from the flange and fit a custom 3" straight through pipe??? What do you guys think?? Any other ideas keeping it semi cheap

I opened up my backbox, chopped out baffles, tack welded in a bit of scaffold, used exhaust putty to seal and then welded outside back up.

3" inch straight through exhaust on a small capacity n/a engine? You might aswel run it on 3 cylinders too You'll effectively lose power.. not good
Sensible option is to do what enuo said. You'll get your noise and keep the power too

Peter Lloyd is good, sounds great and makes a noticeable performance gain too
