EPS Noise

I heard that some adjustments can be done to minimize the Electric Power Steering noise, which it said to a be factory defect in K11's. anyone who has done this plz help...

what sort of noise is it guys?

Squeal? Fluttering? Grinding? Groaning?

Try replacing your power steering fluid...

Theres no need for fluid, since its EPS, uhm actualy there isnt a Fluid port even. The sound is like " squeeking" whenever u turn the wheel... its really irritating and acutally quite loud!

Mate if there's no fluid, dont go touching anything.

I highly doubt there is no fluid, but I'm not going to enter into something I'm not familar with.

No Doubt, there's no fluid its all electronic, I have the noise pretty bad too. Someone said the only cure will be to replace the EPS with a conventional power steering. (lot of work to be done )

Chamara, I heard that u've done some adjustments @ AMW, sometime back. Any idea how and what did they do?

They said, they adjusted the callipers but the reamady was very short term, Now the noise is back but the good thing is i'm quite used to in....... it's music to my years.
