Entering radio code

Some here said you had to wait till the radio display showed 0000, but mine did not require this. It was still ---- after 1hr.

I did this several times before I realised it was OK to enter code without 0000.
Also it seemed to enter when I pressed Traffic, not button no.6

Might be useful to someone doing this.
