enging transplant

hey, i want a faster car then my 1.0l micra but i dont want to get rid of my micra so i was thinking about an engin transplant does any one know if i would be able to fit a 1.6 out of a almera SRI in to my micra? of what is involved in the transplant and what modifications need to be done?

There have been previous discussions about fitting GA16DE & SR20DE engines.
You will need to upgrade your RS5F41A gearbox, halfshafts etc, if you want to fit any other engine. It was only used on the 1L cars.
