engine tickover (idle)

Hi, im having some teething problems with the idle on the ST.

If it start the car in PARK from cold the engine will idle 900 - 1000rpm fine

I put into drive still about 1000 rpm

i drive for a bit and the engine gets up to normal temperature, if i leave it in gear it idles 900 - 1000rpm

if i take it out of drive into NEUTRAL or PARK the idle now reaches 1800 - 1900rpm?

If i adjust the idle now when hot on the far right had screw on the TB it will then idle fine but cut out when cold, the middle screw on the TB i cannot see doing anything when movedn (currently 1 1/2 turns out)

any help?

the first injection cars had this "problem". Mine and my brother's have the same problem. we just optimize every season of the year ourselves. in summer we have about 1500rpm and in winter about 800to 1000. i changed in my own the valve but it persists. and do not forger that these valves are 20years old.
