I have just swapped the engine in my daughters K12, ended up putting a 1.0 in where a 1.2 came out.
All matched up and started up first time, was well chuffed until I tried putting it in gear.
It goes in but is really notchy, you almost have force into gear, it feels like there is not enough travel in the clutch to properly engage gears.
I've bled the system and it makes no difference.
Is it possible that the 1.0 engine and pressure plate is not a match for the 1.2 gearbox.
The plate looked in good condition when the new engine went in so didn't change it.
Am I looking a gearbox removal as well -- happy days
