I have a 1998 1.0l 16v micra with about 65k on the clock. When I change from second into first I feel a clunk transmitted through the body of the car and the gear stick. This happens as I press the clutch to change up to the next gear. It gets less and less as I change up thrugh the gears (2 to 3, 3 to 4 etc). As well as this there is an annoying vibration transmitted through the gearstick while im parked up. I've heard that the engine mounts can get worn and lead to the problems i've described above. I understand that there are 4 mounts holding the engine in place, is there anyway to find out which one is worn to avoid having to change all four.
