I see it also refers to the "intake valve timing control solenoid valve" apparently it is controlled by oil pressure and can and does stick from time to time thereby not allowing the variable valve timing to do its job. The symptoms were, the engine missing and then cutting out, usually it would start again but cut out a few miles down the road. Does anyone else experience code P0011?
The inlet valve has already been changed and also new oil with filter. Apart from this, the air filter has already been changed but the above problem is still there. The engine management light is still on. There is no extra noise from the engine bay. The car starts fine. Can anyone please help me in this regard?
