Hi guys,
For the past 2-3 weeks my micra K11 (R reg) has had a strange fault appear.
I start the engine and the engine malfunction light starts to flash (the engine symbol with 'check' written inside) and will flash throughout my journey. The thing is that I could stop the car, turn the engine off, come back to it and the light will have miraculously stopped flashing once the car has restarted and it won't flash for the rest of the journey. Its like as though it has a mind of its own.
This doesn't have any effect (I think) on the cars performance, it just flashes. I know that a mechanic previously had a look at the ECU unit a few years ago but I don't know whats causing it.
Any advise would be much appreciated.
