electrics.

the mean green speed machine has just arrived back on my drive..
after 4 depressing months lol.

the inside is all taken apart.
the ###### has nicked my airflow cover thingy.
few scrapes of paint off it.
its muddy.
it smells.
the battery is dead!
from my previous posts... its the immobiliser.

someone suggested getting a non nats ecu... would this help??
its got a new pickup ring. the chip looks fine.
im just wandering if the keys need recoding again?
all the wiring looks fine.

mechanically, its fine. im not spending a fortune on it, so gonna attempt to do it myself.

i'll stick some pics on tomorrow.

anyone got any suggestions then??
is the ecu gonna be plug and play etc?

Non-NATs ECU might help, it makes it a lot easier to do stuff with the electrics as far as I'm aware. Not sure how to fit one mind, mine just came without NATs and I've also worked on one with NATs, and it was an absolute nightmare. Not sure about keys needing to be re-coded or the ECU just being plug and play though, I'm sure someone else on here will probably know if it's a hard job or not.
