electric windows

greetings
the windows on the micra have stopped working .i have checked all the fuses i can find ok , no power to switch on door .everything else is working.any ideas please people before i start dismantling ?

The Haynes Book of Lies states that the fuse for the windows is Fuse 23 (15A) and is located in fuse box 4 , in the engine compartment... (which I can't locate at all!) However in the circuit diagram it shows the power feed to the window switches (red cable) coming from the body control module, connection 78, which is CANBUS controlled. ...I had a similar problem with the rear wiper not working, which is also powered from the body control module, and simple battery disconnect and re-connect solved the problem.

i couldnt find fuse 23 either.have checked all fuses in the car i can find none blown . tried the battery reset as well.its baffled me i am going to try a spare switched live to window switch to see if i can get them working.
