electric windows?

hi,
i have a 95 super s here and it has electric windows and im just wondering is it a straight fit to a 1.0l 97 gx or is there a lot more work involved? and if so what is involved? thanks

If the 1.0l 97 gx has manual windows then it may not have the electric wiring loom, like me i made a loom for mine BUT if the 97 gx has electric windows and you wanna changed the mechanism over then its a straight fit..

Are you taking the electric windows out of the Super S and fitting it in the 97 GX?

All gx models have all the loom for all optional extras as far as i'm aware.
Rev counter and electric windows in mine were a straight fit.

I was on the same boat as you exact same idea.. will be a right pain if the looms not there, wasn't on mine, will need to change the mechanism over, door handles with the switches, route out all the wiring from the super S, re route it into the GX, was too much hassle for my liking so i just bought a conversion kit off ebay, really easy to install and works a treat! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310762215529?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Mmmm spade connectors... and tape... and bullet connectors haha

Spade connectors and tape are fine. Bullet connectors don't deal well with the wet but are otherwise ok... twist and tape or twist and heatshrink are the real problems

Ive also got a diy cut switch to completely kill the system .... yes its a light switch x

My bullet connectors always kept pulling apart
