Does anybody know of a micra that has been converted to run off batteries? ie made it an EV?

I'm saving up to hybridise one using in wheel motors in the rear wheels......... simmiler to nissans edrive but with super capacitors and a small bank of batteries. It really expensive! so might not get off the ground

yeah true, but gives you an indication whats out there and comming. I think the EW series are available now and can have 180-320nm per motor......

very slowly.. I've finally got all the bits to put a micra back together.... but I'm currently building my workshop/garage.... I see from the pix that's a DC motor.. I'm planning dual 40kw/120nm AC or brushless DC motors with belts drives/no gearbox. At the moment funds are non existent due to being homedad, thou it will happen. Once the garage is built I can start to jig it all up.
