Drivers door drops

The drivers door drops slightly when it's opened and it has to be closed pretty hard because of it. I think it was caused years ago when my brother reversed slowly with the door open and hit up against something. How do I re-align or tighten the door / hinge? It's a 3 door btw. (Y)

Hopefully it'll stop raining sometime this month so I can get on with the list of jobs needed to be done on the car.

remove front wing, loosen upper & lower hinge bracket from chassis, open door abit from latch, prop up the door, tighten hinge brackets, check if latch aligns n adjust if needed.

Thanks to all for the suggestions, I'm going to give the method described by Frank in the linked thread a go first and keep my fingers crossed!

I also noticed in that thread the method packing the hinge with washers which was something that I wondered would be possible when I was looking at it a few days ago. I'll have a look at that first otherwise I'll go at it with some 3-by-2 :grinning:
