Door card removal

Hi guys and girls,

I want to make a race car interior so I want to remove my door cards.

My question is what do I need to do to my door if I remove them?
I plan on getting straps to close the door and keeping window windy thing and standard lock system, do I need to do anything where the window and door card meet at the bottom of the window?

flat and phillips screwdriver, and some patience. There are some phillips screws around the door, then, remove the pastic trim that holds the window, once you've removed them, use the flat screwdriver to pry the door card off. Be careful with the plastic clips, they are made from cheap plastic and broke with just looking at them. Piece of cake!
