Dodgy Thermostat?

Morning all.

I had a new thermostat fitted around 3 months ago and all was fine, however, during the last week the temp gauge has been going mental, going from staying at the very top to the very bottom and back again.
The car itself isn't overheating though.

Any suggestions?

If it was only fitted 3 months ago, take the car back to where it was fitted and complain. It should have some sort of guarantee!!
