I have a poverty spec '93 Micra 1.0. 48k miles.
I'm very happy with the car for the reasons I bought it, great on petrol, easy to drive & park, parts available everywhere.
However it doesn't have intermittent wipers or a rear wash/wipe or a split fold rear seatback.
How simple or difficult would it be to retrofit any or all of the above?, I only paid £200 for the car and don't intend to throw heaps of money at it, but I find the lack of intermittent wipers a bit of a pain, the rear wiper a tiny bit of a pain and the split folding seat a very occasional nuisance.
Would it be simpler to buy another Micra that has all this in the first place?, I don't anticipate any major mechanical issues with the milage and how I drive it (drive to work and shopping trolley), but rust may be an issue after a couple of years so I know it won't last forever.
What do you guys think?.
Thanks in anticipation,
Roger.
