i wouldnt of done the vid if i was in a residential area. This was on a national speed limit dual carrageway with about 3 miles each way (front, back and to the right of me) doubt theres gonna be anyone crossing that with traffic going 70mph.
Seriously though didnt know it was illegal to hold a phone in hand while in a car stopped or moving slow. Thought it was if ur in a phone call. only like having a smoke in a car or a drink or some food.

yes more bass only when ur hair flies out its too much but no really mine does that but distorts the rear view abit more n i cant even really c outta the bastard thing 2 make out what car is behind but someone i know has an almera with his system it actually moves the rear view mirror outta place on the really deep beats! n he has to re-adjust it all time

Are you trying to say that you have a lot of bass (i.e. to show off), or really not enough bass?
After sitting in a few Streetbass/SPL cars, I'm finding that mine still is just not enough.......I need to feel my ears pop and tears start to appear before I'm happy - heh. I want Streetbass next, but I'll need at least 3kwrms
Is it clean bass btw, or distorting? And what system are you running?

Why is there a set of traffic lights on a national speed limit dual carriageway???? And you would be surprised about people crossing, at the end of the day mate it is illegal to hold anything in your hand that might distract your attention from the wheel, pop, sandwich, phone...anything
I got a £30 fine for taking a drink from a straw so i know.

Having loads of bass is fine but consider how it sounds outside, if you're trying to impress people you drive past then without proper sound proofing the car just vibrates and sounds silly outside.
If you're just concerned about the inside too much drowns out the other sounds so you need just as good or even better mid and high range speakers.
As for the doing it when driving, still illegal and as dangerous, a rogue monkey could jump out, you'd hit it making you swerve into a barrie, the hit monkey would fly into the next lane causing that driver to swerve (as he's paying attention to the road) right into the back of you destroying your subs.

Allan this isn't personal to you but we clearly see him moving and whether he was doing 5mph or 50mph it's still illegal, dangerous and my personal opinion is it's dam right inconciderate to fellow drivers.

i see traffic lights in national speed limits quite alot... people shouldnt be on the phone whilst driving tho but hey i ate my breakfast on the way to work once so i cant say anything. your music sounds like one big fart tho on the camera phone so bit of a stupid way of finding out if or not u need more bass

I'm with Ben 110% on this, I know this has gone of the thread topic but I don't care who you are, friend or family, even my boss stopped and got a £50 bluetooth kit because of my voiced views, you can not predict a road, even one you drive on every day, something can happen at any speed.
There is no justification for using a phone or it's features on the road.
If you think otherwise, think really hard about how you'd feel if tomorrow someone you cared about was killed cause some guy was recoding his bass on his phone.
I would happily report anyone using a phone whilst driving if it would lead to a fine.

honestly i cant believe ive caused soooo much agro over recording bass on my phone while stopped but unfortunatly had to move forward a few feet at about 5mph. if i was moving somewhere and not just a few yards away then i wouldnt use my phone.

Like you pointed out there are already too many distractions in cars (you have more than most) so using a phone for any reason is 1 more too many

Your posts even make clear how much of a distraction it was, it was unfortunate that you had to move forward meaning it was an inconveniance and therefore the majority of your attention was being paid to your stereo and camera. Passengers, stereos and passers by do not come into the equation, well to a certain extent stereos do but at the end of the day you have a brain and you should use it and if you dont thats your choice but for someone to record a video on his phone/camera whilst MOVING is obsurd! Would you have done it had a police car been pulled up along side you? I highly doubt it because you know its wrong.
Speed and distance mean nothing what you did is wrong. Put yourself in my shoes or even worse the shoes of someone has lost someone close to them because of people like you? Would you approve?? I highly doubt it......
