Distributor cap removal

guys,

can anyone guide me through step-by-step procedure in removal of the dizzy cap?

do our dizzys have the metal terminals and the rotating arm just like other distributor caps from other cars say volkswagen?

sorry for being such an idiot for these questions, I'm just a newbie regarding the K11, mine is CG10DE

I would assume you undo the two bolts and pull it off. Yes it will have terminals on the inside which form contact with a spinning rotor. As long as you mark the leads or dont remove them, you cant really go wrong pulling it off for a squiz.

Just be careful when re-fitting the dizzy cap - the small screws that hold it on become brittle over time and can easily be sheared off if tightened too much.

am seeing 3 screws, the one under is pretty inaccessible...there is a need to remove the fusebox or battery for my screw driver to fit in...
