Distributor cap and rotor arm

hiya all.
I recently brought a dizzy cap and rotor arm from a local motor factors but the car ran crap, missfiring at low revs and at idle. I took it back for a refund.
I really need a replacement so I looked at genuine Nissan parts which come out at £45 for the cap and £12 for the arm!!!!!!
Has anyone brought an aftermarket one which has worked fine? Where did you get it from? links would be much appreciated as I just can't justify the price for a genuine Nissan part

did u check ur dizzy timing and spark gap was correct?

No I didn't.
I presumed that you could just fit them and they would work???

sounds like a dodgy copy part to me wehey, i would try a different source personally
