Det3

Has anyone wired a det3 in to a dizzy cg engine in fuel implant or piggyback mode?

I have wired in everything but for some reason it doesn't want to see the crank position sensor or ignition pulse ?

I have emailed ecumaster and am awaiting a response but wondered if anyone has had anything to do with the det3

AFAIK the dizzy engines dont have a CKP, only the coilpacks do. The wheel inside the distributor is the usual engine position management sensor, but most ECUs have implemented only the higher resolution one from the SR20s and not the 4? slots one in the Micra. Good luck, please post if they answer.

They probably have an option for dizzy engines, with less options and capabilities but good enough if you don't want to use electronic ignition.
 
Turns out I'm am idiot.... being lazy I wired +12v to the cig lighter for now to get it to run. Yea I found out the car cuts power to that when cranking so essentially turning off the det3

It does run now but roughly so need to build a map for it

The ignition in comes from ecu to det3 then out to dizzy
