Cos he's made them himself - it's a pipe as opposed to a pipe with silencer attatched
 
why do you want silencer in line for better straight through pipe less restrictions...Ive just fitted 1 to mine works a treat along with big bore rear...worked just as well with normal back box
 
they may look longer but i can asure you they are an exact replacment for the cat converter they are 31.5 cm long if you measure your cat it will also be 31,5cm I used the first one on mine today and had no problem fitting it. took all of 5 mins
 
They look really good and for £25.00 posted thats a great price. If I didnt have a decat already I would have one of these.

What are they made of out of interest?
 
IF you get it here its 25 quid including postage if however you buy it on ebay from me its an extra fiver........it costs 4.95 postage on these so not cheap and I have only 2 left as ive sold 2 on ebay and given one away free of charge to a member here so he can tell you all about the fit and other things....the build materials are 1cm thick plate steel for flanges and mild tube steel for the pipe...........if it ever rots through you can just weld in new pipe but i doubt you will need to................im not using paypal for this however you can pay via postal oder or check , cash only by registerd post pm me and I will give you address to post to.............ken
 
Please be advised I now have none left im awaiting more flanges been flow jeted and hope to have more for sale next weekend cheers ................ken I would also like to add that I have fitted one to my car but I removed the big bore exhaust as it was much to loud for my earsand replaced it with a new stock item resulting in a better ride ..................
 
hi guys, still getting my head round the whole exhaust system and how it all works :p I have a 1.3 sr with absolutely no mods yet, is it a case of fitting a de-cat to standard system and theres a noticeable improvement and is it something i'll need to undo again before next MOT although only just had one done so shouldnt be too bad :) thanks a lot, matt
 
thanks kennie, had a read, does anybody have an idea on the bhp increase? guessing it probably does have to be removed before MOT then? should it also be declared to insurance as well? :p
 
increase in power i cant tell you exept low down power ie 1st through 3rd gear good inprovment as for mot it only replaces the middle cat and if im not mistaken there are 2 on the k11 i might be wrong but it looks like a cat bolted to exhaust manifold so it may still pass emmisions if the manifold one is left alone and in situ. as for the insurance my car was bought like this..........
 
thanks a lot for the quick reply kennie, I think you're right about the two cat situation, will probably be interested in purchasing one of these off you depending on what other people say as regards the legality, insurance and emissions wise, dont want to be getting in trouble if i get in a bump :)
 
if you do a search on here im sure that you will find what your looking for .........as for been legal I have never read anywhere that there not. as for emissions you just refit your cat convertor for the mot ......

I love me micra to bits but why do people insist that they are rubbish? It drives me insane. Anyway i'll look on ebay for it then :D.

Jap whats the angle on the offset along the pipe?

The flange is rotated at one end was just wandering the angle just again my car seems to be salvaged from bits :S

And I have only :down: one left any takers ........I dont know when im getting any more flanges so it may be a long time before there is any more.......
 
Japsey where can you get the templates from, i cna make you a few flanges then if you want, i have access to the right tools,

I have told you in the k11 section how to do this...I dont want any flanges making thank you very much..and this is now off topic so any mods please delete....
 
Jap you still got one left? If soo i'll take it. If you have a de-cat pipe that works i'm gonna buy one from you and concentrate on other bits,

Ok m8 got them on ebay just sent you a pm on ebay actually. Anyway if i do win them then i'll post a write up here about the performance and fitting ect, praps with a few guides aswell :)

I dont know m8 best is either measure your cat if you can take it off. or go to halfords or somewhere and ask if the 2 are the same then take it from there sorry i cant be more help.
 
yes they will ;) k11 cats are the same as almera gti ones (i belive all almeras/primeras and micra k11s have the same cats) , so iam sure it will fit...
 
just whats on ebay Im waiting for my m8 making some more flanges sorry all i can say is hit the buy it now button best i can do........ or you can wait until next time m8 and I will give you pm so you get first refusel........or if you have a new 2" anoloug clock then I will give you a straight swap.....
