Dashboard:- ABS Light & O/D Light

Hello

i don't know if this is normal but i will very much like to have an opinion on this.

when i turn the ignition on, the dashboard lights are on. the ABS and the O/D light turns on briefly and then they switch off automatically.

but sometimes the ABS Lights or the O/D Lights turns on when i turn the key to start the engine and then it switches off immediately.

please note that i waited for the ABS Lights to turn off before starting the engine.

is this thing normal?

Its normal mate. Its just the can system checking for faults

You will note that the radio also switches off while cranking and then comes back. The systems switch off to protect themselves from voltage spikes caused by the load on the battery. Once the engine is running everything gets checked and its off you go.
