Dash and heater control lighting

I'm looking to replace the bulbs in my dash and behind the heater controls, I have found a nissan micra specific kit but it's 20 quid, compared to a £8 standard universal 286 bulb dash set, how many more bulbs do I need to to the radiator lights? In fact are they even 286's?
