3weeks ago converted my NCVT to RSF541A, Was on my way to work yesterday, stopped for a second with the clutch depressed, went to put it in first and it wouldnt engage. got it towed home.. today pulled the mission and noticed that the teeth on the pressure plate were depressed, almost flat. pulled that off to find out the clutch disc was shattered.
Now Im not sure if it was a defect clutch from the beginning or if its because Im running it off a CG13? talked to a couple other people here who are also using a 41A / Cg13, and they havent had any problems with the clutch.
I bought the clutch "NEW" off of someone who said they bought it and never used it.
Its been 1 weeks since I got "shaken" (road certification), looks like it will be off the road for at least another week, or until the new clutch disc arrives.
