Costs (transportation, registration etc)

For those of you that's got experience in buying interstate, do you know how much it would cost to transport a micra from Sydney to Brisbane? Also what are the fees on registration and name transfer fee?

Grev, roughly about $935 to transport from Sydney to Brisbane - if you want bluey, i'll drive it up (for a fee)...

ouch...

Pretty sure another member paid around $500 to have a car sent from Perth to SA...
Best to shop around.
Or just fly down and drive it home

i flew to adelaide and drove my super S back to melbourne in one day, sydney to brisbane aint that bad lol

Adelaide to Melbourne is 3/4 the way of Sydney to Brisbane. It's worse! haha

935 hahahahahaha thats funny. I pay 1100 to get cars to Darwin from Sydney adn perth LOL.

Should be able to get it there for around 500. But i would pay 80 bucks to fly down and 200 in fuel to drive back. Only takes 9 hours or so.

admittedly that price i was quoted was a while ago, and was for door to door which i'm sure costs a tad more than depot to depot

There is the key part in the price. Door to door adds a few hundred bucks.

But if the car is unregistered, I can't drive from the depot back to my place?
