cost of fitting new engine

Was just woundering how much i would need (roughly) to get a cg13 and get it fitted??

Also getting hold of the engine seems hard. is the best place a scrap yard??

sell the 1lt and buy a 1.3

you can get a block and box for around 100/150 quid..

If this is a conversion from a 1.0 to a 1.3 then you need the 1.3 driveshafts and gear selecting arm...

You can remove the 1.0 and fit the 1.3 in less than a day.. ive done it.

i just aint got a wide rang of tools thats all plus dont wanna buy new car because I wouldnt get much for the 1lt cos ive lowered it and other mods so id rather just engine swap plus the body work on this car is in good nick.facelift modle.

Wheres best place scrappy??

you buy a 1.3 and swap the mods over.

it's much easier than swapping an engine, and if you're going to pay a garage it won't be cheap. Probably the same price as buying a 1,3

depends seen them from 850 to 1200

but CG10 K11s sell at near enough the same price

noticed u put u got a facelift but it depends on which facelift model u have if its the coil pack ur looking more likely at a cga not cg13

a 1ltre upto a 1.3 would be a good upgrade, but im hoping (one day... as i've come into a bit of money) that I can do somthing similar to what Nex is selling, but go for a 1.6 turbo... in my dreams at the moment tho lol
